Loved being hosted by Ursula at Bali Eco Village. Google Maps got me there easily and it was an adventure to find the way. I enjoyed some of the loveliest food while staying there - breakfast always fresh fruit and delicious bread and jams. The omelette was excellent. Dinner was a cap cay or a bihum (best Ive ever had!) Location was stunning. Lovely walks, welcoming greeting but the two house dogs Lilly and Lulu. Bungalow rooms were very comfortable and good showers, kettle in the room. Very spacious and a delightful fireplace. Ursula was an absolute gem and I felt like I was one of the family. I want to return just to see her! I usually take my own non-dairy milk with me as I drink A LOT of tea and there was no refrigerator onsite. This is because it is a true eco-retreat and makes a lot of sense. So just don’t take items that need a ride with you! NOTE: all the food was incredibly fresh - this is a just a helpful note for travellers. Wifi it should be noted was available in the lounge & dining area only. I do believe in non-covid times this may change but needs to be stated for future travellers so they can prep for it. Highly recommend a few nights stay here for some peace and tranquility on the side of a mountain! PS Take a jumper! Night time gets cool! AWESOME!
