Hotel Achilleas

Syntagma Square Athens|0.08km from Art Gallery Phenomenon
Originally, I saw that it was an economical model and had low expectations for it, but it was actually quite good. The decoration is new, it is a dry and wet separation design. The room is also very spacious. It will be really pleasant to open the door when there are more puas in the European countries above Greece. The front desks are all qualified, and they are the types that greet people when they meet. I wanted a quilt in the middle of the night, and the front desk quickly answered the phone and delivered it. There is an older person who is particularly warm and thoughtful, and his English is also very fluent. The location of the hotel is very good. Although it is not next to the popular Syntagma Square, it is also very convenient to the business district. Athens is only so big. I have never taken any car, including the bus and subway, except for the airport terminal. There are several living room sofas that can be used as sofa beds (the one I live in is like this, and then judged according to the floor plan posted on the door), and there is a simple partition from the bedroom, so it should be quite suitable for family travel of. The only downside is that there might be a bar nearby? It's not the kind of closeness, just because many restaurants and bars in Athens are open, so the sound can't be contained. Every morning in the early hours of the day, I play the European and American hits from ten years ago and the top 100 electronic music from four or five years ago. The sound is relatively vague, but the hearing is good enough to hear the lyrics. I don't mind because I don't sleep in the early morning. My friend sleeps every day and says she doesn't hear it at all, so it depends on the individual. The sliced cake and yogurt for breakfast were delicious. The milk tea thief in the two steps near the downstairs is delicious. I guess everyone will pass it no matter where they go. Anyway, I am showing it every day except Sunday (the door is not open).

The Lekka Hotel & Spa

Syntagma Square Athens|0.11km from Art Gallery Phenomenon
We were greeted by a lovely smiley lady in reception when we arrived. The foyer area was clean, bright and modern. The room wasn't ready, which wasn’t an issue as we were early for check-in. We were pointed to an adjacent bar/cafe, which was superb. The keys were available about an hour later, and we went to our rooms. The room was clean and tidy, modern, and comfortable. Some of the reviews here say the rooms are small and have limited storage; we had no issues at all. The AC worked well, which was a godsend with the extreme temperatures. The bathroom door was a little odd, albeit frosted, but seeing what others were doing was easy. The rooftop bar was one of the reasons we picked this hotel, its location and view across the historic old town of Athens. The bar lacked any atmosphere and seemed uncared for. On one day, we went up for a drink, and the lights were off; even though the bar wasn’t meant to close for another 30 minutes, we were begrudgingly served. On another evening, we were asked to leave as the rooftop had to be locked up. We rushed to finish our drinks and left, unable to enjoy the fantastic view of the Acropolis. Interestingly there was no room charge option at the bar either. The rooftop doubles up as the breakfast area; previous reviews on here are how good the breakfast was. I completely disagree. We arrived 45 minutes before breakfast ended on the first morning, with minimal choice and items available. One staff member was downright rude, and the other was helpful and smiley. The breakfast is a buffet that is displayed within a covered area, with one side being doors which were propped open. I was cautious about what I selected as the outside temperature was 35c or more, and no items were chilled or covered. I saw a couple of pigeons sharing the food before we left! The food hygiene standards need some urgent attention. On two other mornings, I did go up for breakfast, and although there was more on display, I was careful what I ate as the standards hadn’t improved. The service was better on days two and three, with the rude team member now a little more friendly; this may be due to offering some feedback at reception. As I mentioned before, the room was clean, tidy, and modern, with efficient AC. A coffee machine was available and well stocked on day one, but it wasn't stocked up for days two and three, and we had to ask for more supplies. The same applied to the in-room fridge, with water available on day one but not on day two. On day three, it did appear. More of a concern was that the toilet roll and shower soaps which weren't replenished for two days, despite telling the chap on reception twice. As a result, we had to grab a toilet roll from the ground floor public toilet and make do with shower gel. I mentioned earlier that the receptionist on the first day was helpful, friendly and smiley. Another guy had been to the same training course and was first class. Unfortunately, the third receptionist was rude, hadn

Modern nice hotel to spend a few nights in relaxed lake view atmosphere. Have convenient restaurants right at the place with limited choices and co-branded one with lots of options in a few minutes short walk. Wow rooftop view, free billiard and lounge. Stuff is extremally friendly and helpful. Have transportation offers.

Uluwatu
Close to one of the main routes up to uluwathu- therefore noisy at times but convenient. Bathroom no windows and shower sink misplaced so you flood the bathroom while taking shower- they try to avoid the worst by cleaning everyday - drawers are roten Woods with holes. However I don’t mind all this as it just was for a couple of days and most time u spent anyway outside.

Wayan, thankyou very much for all your efforts. You made this our favourite stay in Bali. We have been to Bali many times and found Semerandana to be fantastic. Awesome location, eady access to the beach and the main road for all the restaurants, mini-mart, and money exchange. All the staff were amazing and a special shout out to Okie. He was wonderful and a true asset to have. The breakfasts were great. Okie you did the best mie and nasi gorengs, and the better half loved the noodle soup. The omelette and scrambled eggs were a treat. Sorry we didn't try the pancakes but might have a go next time. You could get a bintang at the pool. Pool was lovely. Laundry can be done right next door. Bed was so comfortable. The studio apartment was spacious and clean, had a good kitchenette and good bathroom. Robe was a decent size so you didn't have to live out of your suitcase. Loved everything about this place, we will definitely be back. See you soon!! From Jon and Cath and 👽 Cliffy. 9.5/10

The biggest reason for me to choose to stay again is that the food is really great and there are not many other options around. We stayed at the hotel for two days without going anywhere. We experienced yoga classes and spa, and the room was very comfortable. Comfortable. It has strong privacy and is suitable for couples to vacation. The boss is a talkative Canadian. During dinner, every table came to say hello and chat for a while. On the first day we checked in, we found blood stains on the bath towels. It was obvious that they were not replaced after check-out. This is the reason for the low hygiene score. The hotel does not have an exclusive lobby. When you check in, a butler will lead you to follow up and introduce you one by one. There is WhatsApp for service communication, and tablets are provided in the room.

Booked through Traveloka and mentioned the special request to get the early check in at 12.00 PM on the voucher. However when we arrived at the hotel around 12.30 PM, the staff informed us politely that the room was not ready yet and they guide me to followed the check in procedue (02.00 PM). I should much appreciated their quick service to prepared my room due to after 20 minutes waiting, i've got my room befor 02.00 PM✌🏻 Overall hotel's condition is well maintain, the staff who handled me during check in was so helpful. The room is clean as well and definitely, the stunning view from the sky pool on the sunset time is trully awesome Apart from the above point, hopefully the management will reopen their restaurant soonest considering the demand which was coming from the guest. I've got confused once i used the lift, inside the lift there was still their restaurant promo but when i tried to order, restaurant is closed temporarily. Thus i decided to order some foods from Grab and asked for spoon & fork, the staff said that due to the restaurant is closed, its affected to the cutleries availability (no cutleries avaialable on that time & was so shocking for me)
