The place is very basic, however the room I got was quite big and had a fridge, safe, toiletries, etc, which you don't always find in a hotel of this category. It was also clean and confortable. I did hear some noise in the morning coming from the street (and the church's bells every 30min) but nothing that can't be solved with a couple of earplugs. There's a great communal rooftop terrace upstairs. The location is also great for visiting the city. Thank you to George and Io at the reception for their advice regarding restaurants, landmarks, etc. I would gladly go back.

Amazing hotel in a fab central location! Was there with a group of ladies (7 in total) for a Hen Do and they went above and beyond to accommodate us all. The little touches in the Bride-to-be's room were just fantastic. The rooms are spacious and beds are comfortable. Some rooms have a lovely terrace and there is also a roof top area with tables and chairs. Will definitely return to this hotel when in Athens next.

Great location in Plaka but close to Monistiraki. Also just 5 mins walk from Syntagma square for parliament building (and airport bus). Best value hotel with friendly staff made this stay perfect.

Great location! Within minutes walk of all the sites in the city centre, we didn't need to take a taxi anywhere. Next to some great restaurants too, like Mamacita a minute walk away. The rooms were standard, comfortable, no complaints, we spent most of our day exploring. The hotel doesn't have a lift, so yoy may have to carry bags up to 3 floors. Breakfast place opposite hotel was reasonable and friendly.

We only had a short time in Athens but this hotel was perfect. The man at reception was so welcoming and helpful. (sorry I forget his name!) the location was perfect for a short stay so near to the acropolis and it was a lovely view from the terrace outside the room. Cute shopping and great restaurants within 10 minutes walk.

Superb location in the center of the action without breaking the bank. Not for people with disabilities: no elevator. Staff is very helpful. Rooms are small but comfortable. Our had an amazing balcony with view and seating area overlooking the cathedral of Athens.

It is located in the center of downtown Athens with easy access to Plaka and other neighborhoods with lots of shopping, restaurants, etc. The main orthodox cathedral is across the street. Coming here by train it is better to stop at Syntagma Square, to you go downhill to the hotel. and leaving, it is better to use Monastiraki Square (to keep going downhill). They do not have night staff but leave you a # to call in case of emergencies. We had no issues and this place was so close to so many attractions that cannot talk better about it.

Friendly, helpful staff.
Very walkable location close to Plaka and most ancient Athens sights.
Close to public transport.
Property is a little old and dated but in good condition and is kept clean.
The only downside is street noise late into the night. We like open windows but closing them and using the ac was the better choice.
I would stay here again.

Loved the location, so close to the Plaka, Monastiraki, and a not long walk to the Acropolis, Psiri ,Thissio and Ermou street. The bed is comfortable and Kelly at reception was so friendly and helpful. Great value. The rooftop terrace was nice too. Keep in mind it can be noisy, we just closed the shutters and used earplugs and slept soundly.
