The hotel is in a great location! The sanitary conditions must be good! The service is also attentive! Will recommend to friends in the future! The front desk said that Ctrip’s price was the worst, so I had to pay more! The second night added 130 euros. It is recommended that Ctrip make the prices more accurate in the future and introduce the rooms in more detail! For example, if we need a bathtub, we should clearly mark it so that we don’t have to be embarrassed when we get to the hotel! !

The location is perfect for a visit to Acropolis, museums and shopping. The hosts are exceptionally friendly and serviceminded. The rooftop garden is a gem, and the pool perfect for a swim and relaxing by the pool eg in the middle of the day. The ravioli at the rooftop bar was the ‘best ever’ We split our days, eg visited the Acropolis museum in the morning, went for a mid day swim and walked up to Akropolis in the afternoon without crowds. The reception was giving very good suggestions for days out, eg to Glyfada and Vouliagmeni for shopping and a swim, also for eating out. The room beds and pillows were very good. We would love to come back, in particular because of the hospitality, very friendly and knowledgable staff!

Great location in walking distance to the Plaka and the Acropolis. The roof top terrace is sensational with spectacular views across Athens and to the Acropolis & worth staying just for this experience. Dinner and breakfast are both served on the terrace & the food is very good. The hotel looks smart but showing some wrinkles around the edges. My room was quite large with a good sized outside terrace. But the room has a great shortage of power points for plugging in devices and I had to use the bedside lamp plug. The bed is two twins which I don’t like & the bath / shower had nowhere to hang the shower hose & the bath was very narrow. The wifi is very slow. There are a few English channels on the TV. The hotel is very popular with tour groups & so gets quite crowded, busy and noisy. But a pleasant stay, conveniently located with the terrace restaurant view the outstanding feature.

Well, well, well, what can i write or say about this gem. The Electra Palace Hotel, located bang in the middle of downtown Athens is absolutely superb. Everything the city has to offer is within walking distance from the hotel. The view of the Acropolis from our room is spectacular, not to mention the to ”die-for” view from the 8th floor restaurant - you can ”touch” the Acropolis from here!😄 The breakfast at the Electra Palace is top notch and is delicious. The service at the hotel is top notch, and one of the best I have ever experienced in over 30 years of travelling. The staff, from the concierge to the receptionists, and restaurant staff, all provided extremely high professional services. I will single out George, the receptionist, who made us feel extremely welcome with one of the biggest smiles and professional services I have ever experienced. George has a saying each time we interacted with him, and it was ”each time you smile, good things will always come your way.” This saying came through when George found my brand new Samsung Ear Bud after I lost it and the hotel began a whole day of searching inside the hotel and outside at the restaurants we visited. Thank you, George, you're the best. Also, Dimitris, who helped us with our luggages was fantastic. All in all, Electra Palace Hotel is a superb hotel, and we will definitely go back there.

Booked two rooms for a three day stay and both rooms were comfortable and quiet. The bathroom in my room was smaller than my daughters but for me it was fine. Small bath but I managed to use it. The staff are great and breakfast was a good start to the day ahead. Nice coffee. Our flight back to the uk was cancelled due to air traffic control going on strike and the hotel let us stay another night without any fuss even letting us stay in the same rooms. All in all I have no regrets booking this hotel and for the price it’s a great choice. Reception booked our taxi to the airport and it was a fixed price of 40 euros.

Hard as concrete ... A window can open as a store ... very well ... except that it isn't isolated at all and despite being at the 5th floor we hear the street noise as if we were outside ... Cooking too small to cook anything that is.. Small shower room ... Small breakfast ridiculous. You have to eat on the street terrace (in May morning it's cold) and there is almost nothing. Short, very decute. Fortunately the location saves a little level ...

This hotel is really good, not rare in Europe! The hotel is located at the end of the Zeus Temple, at the end of the food street. Walking to the Acropolis and Syntagma Square are 1 km away. The way to the Acropolis is full of restaurants and shops, very convenient. The hotel's facilities are complete with slippers, shampoo, conditioner, soap, shaving foam and lotion. Just bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste. A kettle and tea bags are provided, and a small fridge can store the food you buy. The decoration of the hotel is also very delicate and clean, and the service is very good. The overall feeling is that there are four-star standards in China. It is really rare in Europe! It’s hoping to write a lot of useful information for my friends, because I also like the travellers who leave detailed and true comments.

Very close to the main attractions and restaurants. Nice to be able to walk right up the street and see everything. A small room but a clean comfortable room and bed. Proper shower and small kitchenette. They don't have an elevator for people but a small lift for bags. Staff were excellent and helpful. Breakfast is deliver by an outside vendor.(OK not 5 star) but fine in a pinch. A short walk up the street gives you many breakfast options which might be the way to go. Family run business and fine if you need a safe clean affordable place to stay near the attractions.

We have stayed here before and enjoyed our stay, so we returned knowing there would be steps to navigate to the lobby but from there would be an elevator. Turns out, we had the room on the landing to the lobby, so we didn't have to haul our bags up too many flights. Knowing the street noise of Athens, we were worried that the traffic would interrupt our sleep. The thick windows do help, but you can still hear traffic. After awhile, it became white noise, but if you are a really light sleeper, this could be a problem. The drapes are long and thick but do not block out all of the light from outside, so wear a sleep mask if you need to. The room was large and comfortable with excellent sheets, pillows and towels. There is a wardrobe to hang clothes, and if you look at the bottom of the wardrobe, you'll find the fridge. The furniture is well appointed and not cookie-cutter, which lends a nice atmosphere to the hotel. Engineered wood floors that look hand carved are used throughout the hotel. The bathroom is large with double sinks but the lighting is terrible. Two lights on the mirror are purely decorative as there are no bulbs and the overhead light barely emits a glow, so that was disappointing. However, a large mirror is in the main bedroom. What we really liked was the fact that a heavy door closed off the main room from a short hall where the bathroom and outer door were located so we never heard noise from people entering or leaving the hotel. Breakfast is an interesting experience. While there is a lot offered, on most days the chafing dishes are not set up properly, as in the burners under the dishes are not on. It looks like they didn't have a pan of water underneath the food dishes, which is what makes a chafing dish work. So, if you get to breakfast and the hot food is just arriving, you get warm food, but otherwise, nope. The breakfast area has two rooms to dine in, and the food is tucked into a third room that is difficult to find if you glance quickly around. We saw one guest ask for help because she couldn't find the food. The breakfast room staff is efficient but not friendly. They should be trained to greet guests with a cheerful ”kalimera” when they enter. As others have mentioned, the hotel is a quick walk to the metro, both Acropoli and Syngrou-Fix stations. You also have great restaurants in the neighborhood, and it's a short walk to the Acropolis and Acropolis Museum. Plaka is also very close. Don't be put off by the graffiti on store fronts or grittier look to the area. It's safe and this hotel is a good choice.

It has become my favorite hotel! About 15 minutes walk from downtown. The view of the Acropolis from the rooftop is insanely high. I got a room with a bathtub, but I was surprised at how well located it was.However, the people in Athens were kind and I would like to go there again. Very highly recommended. There are also ruins from 300 BC underground. This is a hotel where you can feel the history.

Excellent location right behind the Acropolis Museum short walk from Plaka and the Acropolis. Safe and serene oasis in a bustling neighborhood. Contemporary interiors, small elevator (for upto 4 persons), fully furnished rooms, all sorts of amenities included. Fully appointed kitchenette with fridge, stove, cookware, silverware and small appliances. Freshly baked snacks for breakfast delivered outside door every morning. Gourmet snacks (olives, nuts and crackers) and a bottle of wine made for a superior welcome. Daphne was a wonderful host available at all times via WhatsApp. She is also very knowledgeable about history and was a great tour guide for our day trip to Delphi. The managers gave us excellent recommendations for local eateries and shopping. Daily housekeeping was good to have even though these are apartments. We had a private terrace with awning which was lovely to have but for much of the day too hot to use. Washing machine and drying rack were also included in the apartment. Overall, the details were impeccable and hospitality was equivalent to that of a high end hotel. Would highly recommend.
