Magical property in magical land. Extremely professional and accommodating staff and service. The ground floor spa equally impressive where I enjoyed full body massage on consecutive days. One small issue with thermostat was dealt with promptly and to full satisfaction. I don’t believe you can improve upon The Old Cataract in any stay in Aswan..

This time I stayed at the local Torrepe Hotel in Aswan. Torlip is also a local hotel chain in Egypt, with branches not only in Aswan, but also in Cairo and Alexandria. In terms of introduction, this hotel is already a relatively new five-star hotel in Egypt. In terms of hardware facilities, it is indeed worthy of the name of a five-star hotel including swimming pools, gyms, and restaurants. The average stay price is about 700 yuan. Although in the room hardware, this is far from the domestic five-star, in a black hole-like city like Aswan, it is good to have such a hotel choice. So the city also has two Accor stores that can be regarded as the level of international chain five-star, and the others are also domestic chains. Because the Nile River between Aswan and Luxor is too famous, and most of the itinerary is four days and three nights or three days and two nights, many guests who come to Aswan choose to live directly on the cruise ship. I arrived from Luxor after staying at the Luxor Pyramisa Hotel and I have to say this place is sooooo much better!! Not just the location or the size of this place but the most important thing was that all members of staff are really friendly, welcoming and always smiling, greeting you when you walk past. A few members stood out very well to me, who are Carlos & Christine from guest relations, who are really friendly and made sure that I had everything I needed and my stay was pleasant. They also sent a complimentary drink to the pool when they saw i was taking a swim. I think these guys definitely deserve a reward!! Mostafa and Ahmed from the taxi/souvenir shop booked a few taxis with them and also an excursion to the Nubial village. Good prices and the taxi were always on time and waiting for me. Finally, I can't forget Faisal, the lifeguard/swimming pool guy. Very friendly, and as soon as he knew I couldn't swim that well, I decided to give me a couple of hours of lessons! a shame. I only went to the pool once on my last day at the hotel. But in general all staff are great but these guys are the ones who I spoke with on a daily basis while staying at the hotel. The hotel, in general, is kept in immaculate condition. The gardens are nice and green and perfect for an evening walk. It's on an island, so no one to haggle you outside and the crossing is free, runs 24hrs, every 20/30mins. Rooms are a bit old but you have to remember we are not in New York or London and in fact very south of the country where its remote and for the price its a good deal!! Views are good, and sunset and sunrise while crossing on the boat to mainland is a view for sure!! I had half board so that was breakfast and dinner on a buffet service. Good selection of hot and cold food at both times. Can't say anything bad. Drinks are extra and the fresh juices are great! Will definitely be staying here again for a longer time when I visit next time!!

I really loved this hotel. The view from my room (5th floor) over Aswan, the cataract, Elephantine Island, Aga Khan monument, was breathtaking. As the hotel is on a hill, I cannot imagine any other hotel offering views like that. The rooms are very clean, though a bit dated, and large, with a balcony. Very generous outdoor grounds, nice swimming pool and a perfect breakfast buffet. Nice little shopping center with very good prices for souvenirs. All in all - a hotel I would like to return to.

This hotel is located in downtown Aswan close to everything. We were in one of their suite rooms that had 2 rooms inside with a bathroom with a huge jacuzzi. The staff was friendly. Check in was easy and the breakfast was excellent. We had the amazing view of the nile river and the city. Will surely stay here again when we come to Aswan

City Max Aqua Park This hotel is in New Aswan, which is about 30 mins from the city centre. It’s a decent hotel with clean facilities and courteous staff. We were only there for one night but the experience was a good one. We didn’t use the aqua park but it could be a nice place for families with small children. The hotel provided us with a packed breakfast as we had to catch an early flight. It also has free WiFi. I recommend this hotel.

It is necessary to book Ben Ben's boat 30 minutes in advance to arrive at the hotel! Pay special attention! The whole service is very good. There is a welcome drink and they will help you carry your luggage in the room. The overall service is perfect. It's just that if you want to call and ask for something, you have to wait for a while! Their dinner meals are delicious! Very relaxing and highly recommended!
