The stay here was fantastic. We were greeted with a huge smile. The room was quaint and the bed, sheets and pillows were so comfy and soft . It was wonderful sitting by the fire in the morning with a great cup of coffee. Then to follow had an amazing breakfast that accommodated my gluten intolerance. Just a charming place in the heart of town. But most importantly, the owners Jacqui and Billy were the best hosts. Gave us great tips on other places to visit as well as great info on the theatre season. Thank you for a great stop on our travels. We will be back :)

Amazing and charming stay on the drive from Seattle to the Bay Area. Such a cozy family room with unique art and touches - wish we got to stay longer. We got to spend a lovely morning with Billy, who made us a delicious breakfast. Looking forward to returning.

We just finished our week-long retreat at OWR. I can't recommend this place enough! Everything was taken care of, which allowed us to simply enjoy each other, all the numerous activities that were planned for us, the class-A inn, & quaint town. We hope to make this an annual tradition! If you're "on the fence" about booking a retreat, DO IT! You won't regret it & will make memories for a lifetime.

What a treat! Attending the Artist Retreat was an extraordinary rewarding and fun event. The owners Jacqui and Billy were like meeting old friends from the moment I arrived. The took care of everything and were so well organized and extremely helpful. They are both kind and fun to spend time with and I already miss them and the other artists/participants. We were invited to start our morning with a yoga/meditation instructor and a five star gourmet breakfast that was prepared by Billy. Yummy! We then started our art sessions with a different local artist daily. They were all excellent caring teachers. Everyday we would eat lunch and dinner in some great restaurant that our hosts provided. Again, more good food. In the evenings we could have free time or attended other event's, concert, galleries, spa, etc. that were scheduled by Jacqui and Billy. All above was arranged by our extraordinary host and included in our stay at the beautiful and well appointed Bayberry Inn which is located a short walk to downtown Ashland. I give this experience a hundred plus stars!

Made a stop in Ashland and stayed in the cutest room at The Bayberry Inn. Jacqui and Billy were amazing hosts and the inn was decorated for Christmas and was homey and comfortable! The dining area was decorated so beautifully! All amenities were great and it was neat seeing local wares offered as well ~ can’t wait to head that way again and visit The Bayberry Inn again ~ thank you ❤️🎄

I was introduced to the Bayberry Inn through their Oregon Wellness Retreat Aspiring Artist Retreat. The Inn was wonderfully appointed and my room (Bayberry Room) had the best view of mountains and trees! Their location is a short easy walk to downtown where you have your choice of parks, shops, restaurants, and entertainment. The breakfast services was so scrumptious and always welcoming! Billy & Jacqui love their Inn and what they do and it shows in the care of they give their guest. I came a stranger and left with a whole new set of friends! The Aspiring Artist Retreat was spectacular! We were introduced to local artist and had a creative adventure every day! I came home with so much art and a new fire was ignited in me to create more! I will be back for more of what they have to offer!

This was my first trip to town since COVID-19. I usually stay in hotels, but what a family atmosphere they created! I can feel the hospitality, and Jacqui and Billy went out of their way to give their guest. I'm not a breakfast person, but having a couple of breakfasts certainly changed my mind about having something in the morning. A couple of minutes of driving or walking to Ashland Downtown. Gives the Bayberry Inn even more of an attraction. I can imagine what it would feel like during the Christmas Holidays. Thank you BOTH! For such a wonderful stay. I can't wait to come back!

Exceeded my expectations!! I came for an artist retreat and got so much more! Jacqui and Billy were wonderful hostesses. Jacqui accommodated every single need from planning amazing art activities, delicious local restaurants, beautifully appointed rooms and even skin care items!! She was always gracious and kind. Billy is a cook extraordinaire! Every morning we were surprised with a delicious breakfast. I will live my life dreaming of his banana pancakes!! He was engaging and fun and attended to our every need. The town of Ashland city is charming and unique and has everything from outdoor concerts to shopping to lovely bookstores, amazing restaurants, gorgeous hiking, and world wide acclaimed theater. If you want to relax , rejuvenate and reconnect- then this is your place. I made so many friends💕💕Forever in my heart. Beautiful Ashland City- Wonderful Bayberry Inn!!!

It's hard to write a review about a place that is really wonderful because it comes off as fawning but I'll try anyway. First off ignore any reviews from more than about two year ago since that's a previous owner. After booking we asked if they had a charger for EV's. Yes, it's free, they sent a picture to confirm compatibility and offered to put a cone to save the spot so an non-EV wouldn't block access. On arrival there was a note at the door with instructions how to get in. A nice touch in case we'd forgotten what was in the confirming email. The living room was enormous, the lights were on and our bedroom was clean, well maintained, nicely furnished including two plush reading chairs. All good, but nothing one wouldn't expect in a top notch B&B. It was breakfast the next morning where we began to see what sets the Bayberry apart. There's only one seating. Be there at 9am. But that's because following a starter (to get everyone gathered) they serve each person a made to order breakfast that is just wonderful. Gourmet is an overused term but if someone has posted pictures (I forgot to take any) these are deserving of that description. One other note, unless you ask you'll eat communally. Go for it. Everyone was nice and we met a couple that we plan to keep in touch with. As I said it can sound fawning but everything the owners do is deliberate. They pay close attention what it makes for a wonderful experience and keep working to make it even better. When we made a suggestion and they immediately wanted to know more and were clearly excited about how that might fit into the ideas they already were working on. That's being engaged. As for downsides, they're pretty minor. It's a short walk to the OSF theaters. Normally I'd consider that a plus getting away a bit from downtown but in the July heat (97 degrees) we felt the need to drive. Not a big deal since parking is not a problem but we did kind of silly. The street out front is the main road northbound out of Ashland but it's a residential street (Ashland is very small) with a 25 mph speed limit and there really isn't much traffic to speak of and trucks use I-5 so we didn't have any problems with noise. We've been coming to OSF for nearly three decades. For most of that time we stayed at a very special place but unfortunately the owner retired and has since passed away. I'd say the Bayberry is a worthy successor.
