134 Prince is so charming, located steps from the Naval Academy, Main Street Annapolis and the Marina for dining, shopping and water views. The home and rooms were beautifully decorated, warm and inviting. The welcome, hospitality and service were bar-none! Any need was met, breakfast to order, daily warm cookies and after dinner indulgences. Loved the friendly caretaker and owner. Highly recommend for a relaxing and fun stay.

Sadly we had a VERY poor stay at this Hotel and just HORRENDOUS customer service with the staff including the owner who I had to track down after my numerous emails and calls went unanswered after they said they were going to address the matter that they helped cause in the first place. The total lack of professionalism was pretty shocking, especially for a "Boutique Hotel" , who you think would want to go out of there way to try and make things right with their quests and go above and beyond, then say a chain Hotel (I am a Bonvoy Elite member and they 1000% better then 134 Prince) .. I have quite frankly had much better luck with recent VRBO/AirBNB stays (which essentially what this place is as there is not a front desk staff and you have to use a code to get into the front door). Maybe because their location is near the waterfront they think they can treat folks in such a manner.. who knows.. All I can say is that I have traveled for work over my long career sales and I can honestly say I think this is the worst experience I have ever had (and I had stayed in a few winners, but not bad enough to take the time to post a review) .. Buyer Beware on this place !

I travelled to 134 Prince with my partner over Veteran's Day weekend. The town was busy because of the holiday and the Naval Academy football game. I believe we may have chosen to come to 134 Prince at exactly the wrong time because the extremely positive reviews below were absolutely not our experience. For anyone looking for an expensive airbnb experience, this is perfect, but don't expect a luxury boutique hotel. We arrived at 19:30 after a train delay and communicating this with a staff member. Unfortunately we arrived to an empty house and let ourselves in with our code. This seemed to be the level of service for our entire stay. On the second morning we were told to "help ourselves" to a dry and scarce breakfast of mini-bagels and fruit. I was excited for the homemade breakfast that other reviewers have raved about. The room (President Suite) was gorgeous, with a very luxurious bathroom and lots of space. Details let the experience down, with a dead fly being found in the bed, no blinds on the windows facing the bath and shower, and loose bathroom fixtures. The water did take a long time to warm up but it wasn't a massive problem. The room also came complete with an ice bucket but no glasses to drink iced drinks from. Despite the disappointments, the hotel is in an ideal location for experiencing Annapolis and gave us a quiet place to relax. We were lucky enough to enjoy delicious breakfasts at Iron Rooster and Bakers & Co. after a disappointing offering within the hotel. It is also a shame that since leaving, I have e-mailed the hotel with the above feedback, as customers are asked to do after departure. Unfortunately I haven't received a response; another extension to the lack of service received at the hotel.

Back in April of this year, my wife and I stayed at the 134. Now, we've stayed a a lot of very nice boutique hotels before but this one definitely stood out. While the accommodations and ambiance were top notch, the personnel stood out the most. The staff was unbelievable! Professional, yet personable. You could tell that they really cared about our visit. I'd give them 10 stars if I could. If you can afford it, go.

The owners have spent a considerable sum on the visible decor of this 5-room guest house (to call it a "Luxury Boutique Hotel" is a misnomer). While the pricing is certainly "luxury" @ $500+/- per night, plus $95 for check-in at 1:00 instead of 3:00 and $50 per night parking in their driveway, the service is not up to par. This is really just a cross between a B&B and an AirB&B. There is no full-time on-site personnel (you have to cll a cell number and someone will come over). Debbie, the manager, and Jen, her assistant, are extremely charming, helpful, friendly & accommodating, However, they have to work with what they are given by ownership, which is not much. The common rooms have no heat. The bathroom in our room (the Harbor Suite) had no heat. Every time someone walks in the room above, you can hear the foot steps. The ventilation runs all night in the room and makes alot of noice even with the vents closed. With all the supposed renovations of this old house, why did they not support the floors and the sound-proof? The water in the room has to run for a long time before it gets warm. No refirg in the room and they pad-lock the refrig in the kitchen at night (again no on-site personnel to provide access) so you have no way to keep any leftovers or food you purchase cold. I arranged to pay the early check-in charge which I could understand if it had been busy. However, to our surprise, on our first night we were the only people there as its off-season and clearly no one had stayed in the room the night before so there was obviously no extra cost to get the room ready before 3:00. The breakfast in the morning was an insult (stale tiny bagels and less than fresh fruited yogurts). I have had better while on 95 overnight on the way down south at a Ramada Inn. This place is billing itself as something it is not and charging for it. If ownership is not willing or able to fund this place and run it properly during the "off-season", then close it, or cut your prices in half to reflect the lack of service and the way it is actually being run. To do what ownership is doing, is just not fair to its guests. NO VALUE HERE .

My husband and I spent 5 amazing nights at 134 Prince to celebrate our very special and big birthdays and we couldn't have been happier! After an incredible amount of research about the best place to stay in Annapolis ,we picked this small boutique luxury hotel and can honestly say it was the best choice in every way. The service that Debbie, who is the General Manager, and Jenna provided was both personal and fabulous! From greeting us at the door to carry our luggage, to special handwritten birthday messages, to cheery morning greetings ,to making sure a decanter was always available , to obtaining special tables at restaurants... I could go on and on and each and every gesture enhanced our stay in every way. The newly renovated hotel is absolutely beautiful and truly feels like a home away from home. We stayed in the Capital Suite and loved everything about it except that the air conditioner was in the bathroom so it could get a bit chilly at times. Next time I think we would hope to stay in the room right across the hall, the Harbor Suite .Each morning their Chef Miquel prepared breakfast which smelled delicious but we are not breakfast eaters so only had coffee and matcha, which they made sure I had almond milk for each day. Just talking with Miquel was truly a treat. The hotel has a great location right in the center of downtown. You can easily walk to the many restaurants, shops, the Naval Academy ,activities and excursions. The restaurants were incredible ! We never knew that Annapolis was such a foodie town with so many things to do. We went sailing, toured the Naval Academy , kayaked , took at day trip to St. Michaels to go biking, ate and drank and relaxed. I can honestly say that we will absolutely be back and keep telling all of our friends and family about 134 Prince and the fabulous vacation in Annapolis. Thank you to Debbie, Jenna and Miquel for making our stay so very special and enjoyable and we can't wait to see you all again very soon!

I expect the hotel would have nice, but unfortunately, we did not have the chance. A covid diagnosis too close to home forced us to quarantine as a precaution and we had to cancel our trip. We asked to reschedule a later date, but they refused. We resigned ourselves to losing The $800 for the room, but to add insult to injury, they charged us an additional $90 and worse, even $50 more for valet parking that was not even being used. Its a sad example of a business profiteering on a persons misfortune. Every other facility worked with us to reschedule, so we won't be staying here

Everything was superb at 134 Prince. Our room was beautiful and comfortable, the bath was spacious and very well stocked with toiletries. Each morning a beautiful breakfast was cooked for us and they even had fresh baked cookies put out every afternoon. They did not miss a thing. Wonderful stay!
