Broken toilet would not flush and overflowed on first use. We were told this was happening a lot and maintenance doesnt come until next morning (this was 6pm), so we were offered towels to clean up all the water and told we could use their plunger if we wanted, otherwise we wouldn't have a bathroom the whole time. We drove 6.5 hours for an event, got back late and then had to do our own maintenance, resulting in 2am bathroom cleaning (the overnight shift person gave us the towels and plunger). Finally get to sleep by 3 and housekeeping enters our room at 830 am, so we just left instead of trying to get more sleep before the drive home. Also, clean up some of the hundreds of dead bugs laying in the entrances. Disappointing that staff expects guests to take care of this type of thing. What if we were elderly or disabled?? Also, if check in is 3pm and check out is 11am, wouldn't most maintenance issues be found in the evening hours? Yet no maintenance avaliable or staff willing to help? Not a good experience.
