The Craibstone Suites

Location is great, central for walkabout, solo suite on top has great view, clean with modern facilities including WiFi, personal touch from Laura highly appreciated, well done thank you, overall a painless experience, will use again and recommend.

Really excellent stay- well appointed rooms - no lift though as a beautiful Grade B Building I stayed in a first floor solo suite which has everything you needed Absolutely first class customer service from Isla from start to finish - hoping to be back for a stay again soon

We’ve stayed at the Cranston’s Suites before, earlier in the year and thought it was great! This time not so much. We checked in on Friday the 8th of Dec and everything seemed fine, we were room 103, apart from an odd trickling sound coming from the radiators. We were heading straight out, once we returned and had gotten to bed the sound became unbearable and continued all through the night. This resulted in me emailing the reception at 7.22am on Saturday as I couldn’t sleep due to the noise. I also videoed the sound with the intention off attaching it once someone had gotten back to me, I requested if someone could please look at it or if we could be moved room. On Saturday we were out all day more or less but whenever we were there there was no one at reception to speak to. So another night with the sound was endured on Saturday!! Anyway I have to say from being pretty impressed we left very disappointed and confused as to why we never got a reply, it’s leading me to think they have missed the email. The radiator in 103 need looking at it and I wouldn’t risk spending the amount we did having to endure that again and have no one there to deal with the issue. Will look elsewhere in the future.

My husband and I had a great stay overnight in The Craibstone Suites. The receptionist was delightful. Accommodation was warm and comfortable. Will definitely book again. Convenient location in central Aberdeen.

Quite delighted to find accommodation as good as this in such a central location. Important for me was to be close to the Albyn Hospital, which is a ten-minute walk away. I could park the car in the cul-de-sac and not touch it until I left two days later, and everything I needed in terms of meals out or groceries were close to hand. The accommodation was clean, modern and comfortable. I found the TV streaming service a bit complex, but had my laptop hooked up to the free wi-fi so no dramas. One thing to note: if you rely on Google to get you to the postcode it takes you to the back of the building. Turn left before Google tells you to. Would highly recommend.

From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome, Sveta checked us in and was very informative. We booked a garden suite which had its own entrance and outdoor seating which was fantastic. The apartment was clean fresh and had everything we needed for our stay. We had a huge bed, both shower and bath also a kitchen area with a breakfast bar. Everything was comfortable and we really enjoyed our stay. The apartments are in a great location with easy access to lots of places of interest such as old Aberdeen, the university, lovely parks and botanical gardens and the beach. We had a little trip up the coast to Newbrugh beach which is really beautiful and unspoiled where we saw the seals both in the water and on the beach. If we return to Aberdeen in the future we will definitely stay at these lovely apartments again.

We booked 2 nights as a wee getaway with our 6 month old boy. We were not disappointed! Reception were just fantastic. We requested a cot for our boy, but we also had a highchair out in which was a really nice touch! The apartment was clean and spacious, and our boy had enough room to roll around the floor and play 😃 We’ll definitely be back!

Great little hotel right in the middle of the city handy for everything, the room was clean and and very nice laid out with a small living room and kitchen and separate bedroom, the bathroom had a shower and was very clean, security code for main entrance door and room which works fine when reception is closed

I booked accommodation at The Craibstone Suites in Aberdeen. When we arrived they wouldn’t let us leave our luggage they said we had to wait until check-in. We just traveled 24 hours with a 1 year old and had to wait outside with 3 suitcases, a cot and a pram for 5 hours. I phoned them and the lady was so rude. We ended up canceling and leaving to stay elsewhere and they have taken the entire stay out of my bank account and are refusing to communicate with me. I have attached email that I sent months earlier notifying them of my arrival time and the FAQ where it states they can home luggage. I never would have booked had I known we would be stuck outside like that. I have tried to call, email, message on Facebook and Instagram to which they blocked me. I’m so shocked!! Would not recommend.
