Hotels in Nai Ton Beach, Phuket

This was my first time staying at Knighton Beach. The beach is right in front of you, and the food stalls are right along the beach, so it's very convenient. It's quiet and relaxing without the noise like Patong. The hotel is currently under construction and looks like it will become a large hotel. I didn't mind the noise, but it was a shame that the construction site was visible from my room. But I could also see the beach in the background. This is a hotel that I'm looking forward to. I'm also happy that it's about 10 minutes from the airport. The plane took off an hour and a half after leaving the hotel. It might be a good idea to arrive at the airport an hour and a half in advance, as it will be a bit hectic at the airport. One disappointing thing was that the bathroom in the pool access room on the first floor had poor drainage.

This hotel needs to walk 3-5 minutes to Naithon Beach. It is a very quiet and peaceful beach just south of Phuket Airport. Unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on how you look) the government clamped down on operators of beach chairs and umbrellas, so you need to buy cheap mats and umbrellas somewhere in this small village - small malls are best priced. The hotel itself is not impressive, but the rooms are quite large and modern with flat screen TV, refrigerator, indoor safe etc. The room rate includes breakfast but there is a small plate of fresh fruit with toast, jam, juice, coffee. If you don't want to pay more than double the price, it's very difficult to find a better room in Naithon.

Actually this is my second time in Pullman. After three years pandemic, i was so eager to go Thailand again. When I was searching the hotel in Phuket, actually i knew I wanted to stay in Pullman again. I had a great stay in this hotel. If you are looking for somewhere far from the town which may be full of people and you just want to enjoy some quiet time. This hotel is perfect for you. It’s very close to airport, around 15 mins. Except the restaurants in the hotel (which are also quite good), you can find street food outside the hotel and near the beach! I enjoyed staying next to the pool everyday and I love they have happy hour from 4-6pm everyday. :) You have to take the car between lobby to your room which is fine to me because I don’t stay much time in my room! The breakfast is so good! I love it!!!

We arrived here for our 2nd week in Thailand after spending a week on the idyllic island of Koh Yao Noi at a very nice hotel indeed. First impressions were a bit of a culture shock by comparison, it's VERY big, and VERY full with the vast majority of guests being Eastern European. I can't give it 5 stars because... as others have said, the rooms are a touch dated, the walls are thinner than is acceptable really, with every noise from next door or above clearly audible. Sunbeds by the pool are reserved whilst the sun is still in bed and breakfast time is a bit of a free for all, finding a vacant table takes a bit of effort putting it mildly. I can't give 3 stars because... The staff are tremendous keeping breakfast running smoothly, tables are quickly cleared and cleaned, self service food & drink replenished. The rooms are cleaned to a high standard, all extras replaced daily including clean towels, water is provided daily, there is a fridge in the room, and a large safe. It is very clean, and tended to by staff that you rarely see. Clean pool towels are readily available and it's really close to a very nice beach. In general the staff aren't as personable as we experienced at the other hotel, I think for 2 reasons. 1 is the sheer size and number of guests, and 2 they put up with some very rude individuals with zero manners who treat the Thai's disgustingly in my opinion. The longer we stayed here the better we dealt with the negative aspects. I probably wouldn't stay again, nor would I want to put someone off coming as they deal with the obstacles admirably.

It may be in need of renovation here and there, and some of its facilities may not be operational, but it’s very cozy, clean and beautiful with amazing beach and an epic cat that hangs around the reception and seems to be helping everyone with all its might. The rooms are very spacious, even bathrooms. The breakfast is simple, but you have everything you need: fried eggs, omelette, sausages, bacon, rice, noodles, fruits and juices. The restaurant itself overlooks the pool and the sea, which is breathtaking most of the time. Lunch in the hotel is rather good, but overpriced as expected, so most of the time you will eat on Nai Thon Beach which is only 15 minutes away by feet. There are at least 2-3 decent restaurants there - I’d personally recommend “95 Restaurant”. The pool here is not very deep, but quite lengthy, although I doubt you will spend much time in it with the seaside right next to it. This is by far the biggest advantage of the hotel - the private beach with cliffs on both ends. Compared to most Thai hotels it’s a very rare thing. It’s huge, clean, with lots of free space to move your beach beds anyway you want and with beautiful crystal clear sea. It’s not very still, but waves add lots of fun to it. Wi-Fi is strange and very frustrating: it was mostly absent in our room, appearing for mere seconds just to be gone the moment you try to use it, but very stable by the pool and even by the sea. I suppose it should be the other way round, oh well. There’s a mandatory deposit on check-in of 200 USD or 13000THB, which is a lot and quite an inconvenience, if cash is the only thing you have on you. I wish I knew about that beforehand, so I could take extra. The staff is very nice and attentive, always smiling and trying to help. I would definitely love to come back here.

Location: quite difficult to locate, some bolt drivers got lost trying to find the entrance Check in: was a breeze, but had to pay a deposit of 5000baht which we were not informed of even in trip or confirmation email, i wish this was more transparent. It will only be returned to you during check out after housekeeping staff check your room( it will be deducted any item is damaged or missing) - After check in, shuttle will bring you up as the rooms are location on top, lobby at the bottom of the hill. The shuttle was very dangerous , if you are with luggage, going up the hill theres no buckle to hold on to your luggage if you do not hold on to it tight enough, it will just roll off the shuttle , we were also not warned about the steep slope. ＞ our room was located in the middle of the blocks, so the shuttle dropped us at the bottom and we had to climb the stairs with our luggages, the staff did not want to help us carry at first. - no shelter at all at the lobby, if its raining, then you’ll have to walk under the rain to the shuttle. - you can request the shuttle to drive you from your room to the lobby/vise versa as it is not really convenient with the hill and STEPS. -The first 2 days, staff was fine, all good driving us up and down whenever we called, then out of a sudden, they asked us to use the ‘shortcut’ to our room. Did not specify why, but we rejected after walking the FLOCK OF STAIRS for a day, they were at least 5 stories steep mind you. - if you do not wish to take the stairs, you may walk up/ down the hill, which is VERY dark during night time. Check out: worst day of all, they called your room at 1145 to rush you to check out, said will send a shuttle to OUR ROOM but did not specify which block they will be waiting at, we waited but no one came to our room. After waiting for 5mins? We are unsure if we should carry our luggages up or down to the different pickup point, so i used the staff phone outside to phone the lobby to clarify. The staff answering the phone did not even bother to listen to my question, she just answered, ‘check out? Yes ok we will send a shuttle’ then i asked again, WHICH BLOCK SHOULD I WAIT AT?? And she replied me ‘CHECK OUT YES OR NO?’ I said YES, then she just said OK and ENDED MY CALL. In the end, we had to carry our down luggage, without any help, up the steep stairs, and the shuttle WASN’T even there. We waited for extra 5-10mins before the shuttle came. check out: at the lobby, had to wait 10mins for housekeeping to check our rooms before we can check out successfully and get our deposit back. At the same time I had already feedback my encounter to the manager at the lobby, which said she will take care of if later. She’s fine, she apologized. ＞ and finally it was our turn to collect the deposit, the same lady who pickup and ended my call, called out to me. ‘NI HAO NI HAO( hello hello in mandarin) I was so offended, not every asian looking person can understand mandarin and she could have spoken to me in english cause I spoke to her manager in english right? Its obvious that she did not want to speak to me probably cause i feedback about her. All in all, i will not recommend this hotel. Thank you.

A nice modern clean hotel. I stayed here with my daughter and used it as a launch pad to the port where Phi Phi tours depart from. The good: Helpful check in, including for organising our tour. Clean and modern. Nice rooms, bathrooms and quiet central air. A top Chinese restaurant attached to the lobby. They had a street food popup rooftop restaurant. The views in the evening were stunning with bush on one side and nightlights on the other. Once you get over the 200 baht charge, the hotel taxi to the old town was very nice. A free shuttle I didn't use - only twice daily, and just to the Central mall. They had connecting rooms, which can be tricky to find. The bad: It's a bit far from things. There is no balcony at the room. The menu prices listed exclude tax and service.. a pet peeve. There was no facility to charge to the room. Paying by credit card in the restaurants they kept setting to the foreign card currency, via some third party with a poor conversion rate. It was a real struggle just to simply get a charge in Thai Baht. The pool is very small but has a nice view. The gym looked pretty good but I didn't use it. Would I stay there again? Yes for sure.

Check in was swift/ prompt. Hotel lobby is always kept clean. Room is spacious with balcony facing poolside and has bathtub, perfect for a good soak before getting some good sleep. Patong beach is just 350m/ 5mins walk. If you’re adventurous do to walk further to Patong boat pier (650m frm hotel) Bigger 7-11 store right in front of the Patong beach which has fresh daily pastries/ bakes and ready-to-eat salad bowls (very fresh if you get them early morning, right after your morning beach walk) Many food/ restaurants/ cafes available just on the long stretch of Patong beach. Walking distance to Bangla Rd too. Hotel provides clean beach towel and umbrella too so helpful/ useful during my 4 days stay as the Sun was too hot, and I’d sit 2hrs on the beach to read my book and gazed at the sunset. Highly recommend this for solo traveler, safe neighbourhood and value for money.
