Longueville House

On a 500-acre estate surrounded by lush green valleys, salmon-stocked rivers, and trees representing the battle of Waterloo, this 18th-century Georgian country house offers luxurious, elegant accommodation and stunning cuisine. In the heart of North County Cork, looking out over the valley from the hillside, Longueville House is rich in historic character and traditional charm. The house has been owned by many generations of the O'Callaghan family since the 18th-century. The house boasts many unique touches, including ornate, Italian-designed ceilings, a marble dining room statue of Neptune, and mahogany doors. The spacious and elegant rooms are tastefully decorated in a country-house style and feature modern en suite bathrooms, with fluffy cotton towels and good-pressure hot water. The Presidents Restaurant is at the heart of Longueville and the hotel's head chef trained under Raymond Blanc (Le Manoir aux Quat'Saisons).
