Virgin Atlantic introduction

Owned by Sir Richard Bransen's Virgin Enterprises, British Virgin Atlantic Airways focuses on a luxurious experience whether passengers are looking for cheap flights or to upgrade to business class in one of their upper class suites. Virgin Atlantic operates a fleet of widebodied Airbus and Boeing aircraft including double-decker aircraft to make room for maximized leg room and their Upper Class Seats which fold out into more than 1.8 meter-long (6 ft) beds. Other comforts include the in-flight three-course meal and flight entertainment that includes AVOD with games, movies and more. From their hub at Heathrow in London, Virgin Atlantic Airways offers flights to Asia, the Americas, Australia and Europe.

  • Kunming Airlines is a growing airline with 6 aircraft that operates connecting and domestic flights within China. Future plans consist of a growing network through Yunnan and establishing routes to major cities connecting them with top Southeast Asian destinations.

  • Shandong Airlines is principally engaged air passenger and cargo transportation business. Shandong Airlines runs a fleet of Boeing 737s along with a few Canadair CRJ-100 and CRJ-700 series aircraft. The airline offers routes to 45 destinations in Mainland China as well as Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan and South Korea.

  • Shanghai Airlines, which is a subsidiary of China Eastern Airlines, operates a comprehensive domestic network and international network, with flights to many cities in China and international flights to Japan, South Korea, Thailand, Australia, India, the Philippines, Vietnam. Cambodia and Hong Kong, in addition to other international destinations. The airline was founded in 1985 and flies a fleet of 67 planes to 140 destinations.

  • Lucky Air, established in 2004, was originally known as Shilin Airlines. Lucky Air is owned by Hainan Airlines, Shanxi Airlines and Yunnan Shilin Tourism Aviation and operates out of Kunming Wujiaba International Airport in Yunnan Province. In addition to providing domestic China flights from Kunming to Dali and Xishuangbanna, Lucky Air also operates as a cargo carrier.
