S7 Airlines introduction

With their main hubs in Moscow, Novosibirsk and Irkutsk, S7 Airlines, formerly known as Sabir Airlines (or Siberia Airlines), runs flights to Russia and the CIS as well as international flights to Austria, Bulgaria, China, Egypt, Germany, Ireland, Israel, Montenegro, South Korea, Spain, Thailand, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates and more. Within greater China, S7 Airlines offers flights to Beijing, Hong Kong and Urumqi. In addition to having the largest domestic network in Russia, S7 airlines is one of 12 airlines that enjoys full membership to the oneworld global alliance, offering frequent flier miles and bonuses to passengers across its member and affiliate airlines.

  • China Eastern Airlines is based at Shanghai Pudong Airport and Shanghai Hongqiao Airport. It is a major airline operating international, domestic and regional routes with a fleet of over 400 aircraft. China Eastern serves nearly 70 million passengers annually.

  • Austrian Airlines is the flag carrier for Austria headquartered at Vienna International Airport. The airline is a member of the Star Alliance and operates to over 130 destinations in Europe, Africa, the Americas, Asia and Russia. The fleet consists of 79 aircraft. Lufthansa purchased the airline in September 2009.

  • TransAsia Airways is a Taiwanese airline that operates out of Taipei. It caters mostly to a domestic market, but offers some international services, including flights to East Asia, China and destinations in Southeast Asia. Founded in 1951, the airline operates a fleet of 16 planes and flies to 33 cities.

  • Shanghai Airlines, which is a subsidiary of China Eastern Airlines, operates a comprehensive domestic network and international network, with flights to many cities in China and international flights to Japan, South Korea, Thailand, Australia, India, the Philippines, Vietnam. Cambodia and Hong Kong, in addition to other international destinations. The airline was founded in 1985 and flies a fleet of 67 planes to 140 destinations.

  • Xiamen Airlines was the first private airline operating in China. The airline's main hubs are Xiamen, Fuzhou and Hangzhou. Xiamen Airlines operates 210 routes to over 50 major cities including Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan and Southeast and Northeast Asia.

  • Kunming Airlines is a growing airline with 6 aircraft that operates connecting and domestic flights within China. Future plans consist of a growing network through Yunnan and establishing routes to major cities connecting them with top Southeast Asian destinations.
