Qatar Airways introduction

Qatar Airways operates a hub-and-spoke network from their headquaters at Qatar Airways Tower in Doha, linking over 100 international destinations on all six inhabited continents. Keeping with that spirit, Qatar Airways has codesharing agreements with US Airways, Malaysia Airlines, All Nippon Airways and more. Passengers with Qatar Airways can fly from Doha to destinations in Africa, Asia, Europe, North America, South America and Oceania.

  • Mandarin Airlines is a subsidiary of China Airlines. Based in Taipei, Taiwan, Mandarin Airlines provides domestic Taiwan flights as well as flights to Mainland China including Changsha, Fuzhou, Xiamen, Ningbo, Hangzhou and Shenyang,and international destinations including Japan Ishigaki Airport, Osaka Kansai Airport and Tokyo Narita Airport, Macau, Hong Kong, Philippines, Malaysia, Vietnam and South Korea. Regional Taiwan routes include flights to Kinmen, Kaohsiung, Taipei, Machung and Taitung.

  • With one of the most comprehensive global route networks in the world, United Airlines has non-stop flights from cities across the United States as well as flights to Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe, the Middle East and Latin America. United Airlines operates hubs in 10 cities, including the four largest cities in the United States. For those traveling to China, United Airlines offers non-stop flights between New York and Beijing as well as non-stop flights between New York and Shanghai. Passengers also benefit from United Airlines status as a Star Alliance member, gaining a number of benefits from the worldwide network.

  • Grand China Air is owned and operated by Hainan Airlines. The airline operates flights between many Chinese airports and flies international routes to Japan, Korea, Taiwan, multiple destinations in Southeast Asia and parts of Europe.

  • Juneyao Airlines is a Shanghai-based Chinese airline. It is a relatively new airline, having begun operations in 2005, and offers 22 planes that serve 32 destinations around China.

  • Lucky Air, established in 2004, was originally known as Shilin Airlines. Lucky Air is owned by Hainan Airlines, Shanxi Airlines and Yunnan Shilin Tourism Aviation and operates out of Kunming Wujiaba International Airport in Yunnan Province. In addition to providing domestic China flights from Kunming to Dali and Xishuangbanna, Lucky Air also operates as a cargo carrier.

  • Air New Zealand is the flag carrier for New Zealand, operating a fleet of 52 aircraft with domestic New Zealand flights and cargo flights as well as international passenger transport and cargo. The airline predomintely offers Australasia flights and the South Pacific flights, along with long-haul flights from New Zealand to Asia, Europe and North America. Air New Zealand is a member of the Star Alliance so passengers can gain frequent flier miles and other benefits between other member airlines.
