  • China Southern Airlines is the sixth largest airline in the world and is Asia's largest. The airline is based out of Guangzhou, and its major hubs are the Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport and the Beijing Capital International Airport. A relatively young airline, China Southern was established in 1988 and has grown in the decades since to serve 121 destinations. The airline operates domestic China flights and international routes around the world.

  • Based out of Hong Kong International Airport, the award-winning Hong Kong Express Airways emphasizes passenger comfort and convenience offering business-class flights and in-flight Wi-Fi. One of the youngest airlines in the sky, operating a mixed fleet of Boeing and Airbus aircraft, Hong Kong Express Airways offers flights across China including flights from Hong Kong to Shanghai, flights from Hong Kong to Chengdu and more. International routes include Hong Kong to Bangkok, Hong Kong to Singapore, Hong Kong to Tokyo and Hong Kong to London.

  • Air New Zealand is the flag carrier for New Zealand, operating a fleet of 52 aircraft with domestic New Zealand flights and cargo flights as well as international passenger transport and cargo. The airline predomintely offers Australasia flights and the South Pacific flights, along with long-haul flights from New Zealand to Asia, Europe and North America. Air New Zealand is a member of the Star Alliance so passengers can gain frequent flier miles and other benefits between other member airlines.

  • With one of the most comprehensive global route networks in the world, United Airlines has non-stop flights from cities across the United States as well as flights to Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe, the Middle East and Latin America. United Airlines operates hubs in 10 cities, including the four largest cities in the United States. For those traveling to China, United Airlines offers non-stop flights between New York and Beijing as well as non-stop flights between New York and Shanghai. Passengers also benefit from United Airlines status as a Star Alliance member, gaining a number of benefits from the worldwide network.

  • TransAsia Airways is a Taiwanese airline that operates out of Taipei. It caters mostly to a domestic market, but offers some international services, including flights to East Asia, China and destinations in Southeast Asia. Founded in 1951, the airline operates a fleet of 16 planes and flies to 33 cities.

  • Juneyao Airlines is a Shanghai-based Chinese airline. It is a relatively new airline, having begun operations in 2005, and offers 22 planes that serve 32 destinations around China.
