Air France introduction

Air France is Europe's largest airline and one of the largest airlines in the world. The national airline of France, Air France is a subsidiary of the Air France-KLM Group and a founding member of the SkyTeam Alliance. Air France's global hub is Charles-de-Gaulle Airport in Paris and their corporate headquarters are also located at Charles-de-Gaulle Airport. In total Air France offers flights to 35 destinations in France, and 156 destinations in 91 countries worldwide. The Air France fleet consists of a 168 long-haul aircraft (a combination of Airbus and Boeing widebodied jets) and Airbus A320 aircraft used for shorter flights, while regional domestic flights mainly utilize smaller turbofan powered jets.

  • China Airlines has destinations in Europe, Asia, America, Oceania and Taiwan and 74 aircraft. In 2012 China Airlines launched the World's First Trans-Pacific Climate Observation Flight.Dynasty Flyer is the airlines' frequent flyer program. China Airlines also operates a fleet of 19 cargo freighters to 38 destinations around the world.

  • Air New Zealand is the flag carrier for New Zealand, operating a fleet of 52 aircraft with domestic New Zealand flights and cargo flights as well as international passenger transport and cargo. The airline predomintely offers Australasia flights and the South Pacific flights, along with long-haul flights from New Zealand to Asia, Europe and North America. Air New Zealand is a member of the Star Alliance so passengers can gain frequent flier miles and other benefits between other member airlines.

  • TransAsia Airways is a Taiwanese airline that operates out of Taipei. It caters mostly to a domestic market, but offers some international services, including flights to East Asia, China and destinations in Southeast Asia. Founded in 1951, the airline operates a fleet of 16 planes and flies to 33 cities.

  • Kunming Airlines is a growing airline with 6 aircraft that operates connecting and domestic flights within China. Future plans consist of a growing network through Yunnan and establishing routes to major cities connecting them with top Southeast Asian destinations.

  • Malaysia Airlines is the flag carrier for Malaysia, operating flights from Kuala Lumpur International Aiport. The airline operates Southeast Asia flights, East Asia flights, South Asia flights and Middle East flights as well as the "kangaroo route" between Europe and Australasia. Trans-Pacific destinations include Los Angeles and Tokyo.
